Loreal - Perfect Clean "Refreshing"

22.5.10

When this first appeared I thought it was a silly gimmick and I decided I wouldn't be buying it. Then while browsing the aisles in Boots I realised that I wanted an exfoliator and face wash in one. This seemed like the ideal solution because there is the option to exfoliate using the "scrublet" only when you need to.

The choice of face washes on offer in my store was rather limited and I don't think the "refreshing" type is the most suitable for me, but I would definitely consider purchasing a different type because I love the concept. The "scrublet" is a great little idea. It is gentle but effective and creates a really good lather on the skin. I love the design of the bottle and the fact the "scrublet" is part of the design.

Have you tried one of these face washes yet?

  1. I've been using the blemish prone skin one and blogged about it here:

  3. Soap and Glory sell an individual scrublet (bought mine in Boots for £4) and it's pink - can't go wrong with that! Lol. I mentioned it in one of my haul posts xx

  5. I bought the pink (I think its the creamy) version of this the other week ago as it was on offer but I haven't tried it out yet as I'm trying to use up everything I've got on the go first.

I thought the same about it being a gimmick but its good to hear that you've had a good experience with it :)

  10. I was put of buying it simply because I had bought that neutrogena vibrating thing and it was rubbish! I wasn't up for buying into what I thought was another 'fad' exfoliator. Does the scrublet make it any better than your bog standard exfoliators?

  11. @EilidhPie - It's very gentle, not like some of the harsh exfoliators out there. It lathers up the face wash really well which I feel removes my makeup more effectively.

  13. I've thought about trying this product for some time but like you, I was also concerned that it could be just another silly gimmick and a waste of money. Thanks for the review, I will definately be purchasing :) xo

  14. I have the sensitive/dry one and it's really nice! I have oily combo skin but my skin is also sensitive so I choose this one. Works really well!

  15. @Bryden - I might give the sensitive one a whirl. My skin can be quite sensitive sometimes. x
