LOST (literally!)

15.5.10

Is anyone else still watching Lost? I remember watching the first episode many years ago in my friend's front room with about 8 other people and we were all so excited about this new tv show that everybody was talking about. I think I'm the only one still watching!!

I don't watch much tv and I only watch a couple of tv shows religiously - Bones is another firm fave that springs to mind. But Lost has really captured my imagination and I'm hooked on the cliff hanger endings. Last night's episode, all about Jacob and how he ended up on the island, was one of my favourites so far.

Are you still watching or did you give up a long time ago? As it comes to an end, have you got any clue what is going to happen?

  1. I gave up at the end of the first series. I thought we would find out what happened, but no. All that suspense for nothing! So I gave up on it I'm afraid!

  2. I'm really annoyed with myself in regards to Lost actually..
I watched it religiously series after series (even though a lot of the time I had no idea what was going on..), & then this latest, & last series, I gave up on! I watched the first couple & then just kinda.. stopped.
I wish I'd stuck with it, because I do want to know how it all ends, but I just got a bit fed up with it all..! I guess I can catch up at some point in the future..

  4. I'm still watching it! I really don't want it to end, I'm watching it online so I've caught up with the Americans which means on a couple of episodes left :(

There's still lots of unanswered questions! I still have no idea about the polar bears haha :) xx

  7. Still watching, I stopped being interested about 3 seasons ago though!
I think they'll neglect to explain a lot of stuff, but I still watch in a hope of getting any answers!

  8. I am so upset that this show is about to end, it has been a firm favourite of mine since the very beginning and I can't believe it'll all be over next Sunday :( On the other hand I'm really looking forward to finally getting some answers! I suppose quite a few characters are going to die either on the island or on the side-ways world, though I bet Juliet and Sawyer are going to end up together! Love Desmond to bits, not sure what he's up to though! x

  9. @Anna - I also love Desmond! He's my fave. x

  10. @tiffany - Yep, you're right. If you miss 1 episode you have to catch up or you're stuck! x

  16. @misssarahlou - Good idea! But it's quite nice having the cliff hanger sometimes. I'm very impatient though :) x

  17. I gave up after season two, just completely lost interest. But me and my housemates are saying that we should try to catch up, now that its all coming to an end. I'd quite like to go back to watching it again, so might rent the boxsets from Blockbuster. X

  18. I am a true Lost fan, and I am going to translate 1 episode from this season into Italian for my final thesis. ;) (yes, we dub tv programmes and films)

Although I have to say that I missed this week's episode because of my stupid connection. Thanks for the spoiler :P eheh

I don't really know what is going to happen, I was right years ago about the time travelling, but this good - evil story has left me speechless.

The Jin&Sun story has really saddens me, but it was the sweetest love story of all seasons! I love Desmond, Sawyer, and Hugo, and I really think something will happen to Sawyer that makes him reconnect with Juliet.
Also, I am curious about Aaron...does anybody else remember years ago he was said to be crucial for the island?!

  19. I'm still watching it, but I have to say, I'm kinda looking forward to it ending in the vain hope we might finally know what the hell is going on, hehe! It's a superbly made show though, I love the cast, and I think it's certainly done what it set out to do...because I'm certainly Lost! xxx

  20. @Lydia - Oh don't worry I haven't spoilt anything :) You find out at the beginning it's all about Jacob. Enjoy :) x

  23. I have been studying this for my Media exam and due to lack of time, we have only been able to watch 3 episodes but my god, I love it!

    I'm still completely confused though.
    - What's the thing on the island?
    - How can (forgot his name) walk?
    - Where is (forgot her names) husband? Is he still alive?

So many questions! I need to buy the boxsets :P

We've also been watching Heroes (AMAZING!) and Dr Who which has grown on me

    xx

  27. I could never really get into it, tried a couple of times then gave up.
I love watching some series, like Ashes to Ashes - but Lost can just get lost...haha see what I did there! :)

  28. I've watched it from the start and even though I'm "lost" as to whats going on, I still love it!!!

I watch it online as we dont have Sky so I'm not actually sure how many I have left to watch... No idea whats gonna happen though haha!! I reckon it will prob be a big let down but ahh well!! :) xxx

  29. Haha aw I know sooo many people who have given up, but I've battled on and never missed an episode! I love it, but I'm going to be seriously pissed off if the finale is a total cop out and doesn't answer ALL our questions in the most epic way possible! I feel like the writers have just been making it up as theyve went along, but we'll see soon enough ;) xx

  30. @Rogue - I'm hoping for all the answers but I'm afraid it's going to be a total cop out ending leaving lots of mystery and unanswered questions. I hope not!!! x

  34. i watch lost still, and like you, sometimes wonder who else still does! i do think it's reaching the end of it's run though, so i'm glad it's the last season. sometimes i think it's still utterly brilliant (sun/jin) and sometimes i get so frustrated at the plot order (the latest flashback episode? not interesting because they didn't even hint at the relevance of it?!) haha mostly i think i'm just watching it for... closure? LOL.

  35. The last episode of lost i watched was literally years ago, it was the one where they first found the underground bunker thing, i just "lost" interest lol, interested to know how it ends though - maybe it was all a dream? xx

  36. We watch Lost; it's the hubby's favorite show. But this season has been hard for me to get into, which is a shame since it's the last season. I'll have to sit and watch it properly once it's out on DVD.

  37. I gave up with Lost during the 1st season, soo confusing! I love Bones though!!

  38. Last week's episode about Jacob and the MIB was one of the best by far! I love that this is the season of answers, which makes letting it go a little easier for me. I'm still sad about Jin and Sun, though!
