I was recently contacted about a brand called MBT and as someone who has tried every kind of way to keep fit I jumped at the chance to try out a pair. You see, MBT is the original functional footwear brand which can activate more muscle groups through the principle of natural instability - meaning people can tone their body and prevent physical aches and pains by walking and standing. The benefits are incredibly impressive and celebrity wearers include Cheryl Cole, Coleen Rooney, Katherine Heigl and Fearne Cotton. What's good enough for the A List is good enough for me!
The new Autumn/Winter 2010 range has been launched and I will be trying out a pair called Fora in white. They are so stylish - I love them already and I haven't even started to use them yet! I plan to do a bit of exercise this weekend so they will be getting an outing. I will share my thoughts with you as I go and update you on how I'm getting on with them so keep your eyes peeled for that!
What else do MBT say?
The dawn of 2010 saw the update of MBT's athletic offering introducing styles that were 20% lighter and featured breathable materials, while boasting all of the same muscle-activating and posture-improving benefits as its predecessors. Perfect for all forms of controlled exercise*, this stylish new generation of athletic MBTs can help to maximize the benefits of a workout and increase calorie burn by 13%.
* Examples: Running on a treadmill, yoga, pilates and weight training.
The best news of all is that I have a pair to give away to one lucky reader of Lily loves Lola! So while I'm busy testing my pair out you can have your very own pair to wear and review if you like! The pair in question are part of the collaboration with Wolfgang Joop who has created three unique, limited edition styles. The Wunderkind collection is based on MBT's existing bestseller, the Mary-Jane style "Tunisha".
To be in with a chance to win a red pair in a UK size 4, leave a comment below saying you would like to enter. Unfortunately this giveaway is just for UK folks only. One entry per person please. The contest will close on 25 October 2010 and I'll pick a winner using random.org as always!
Good luck everyone.
