Stuck in the middle.

7.3.11

As you may know I've lost a bit of weight recently and I'm really getting into exercising and eating yummy, healthy food. I'm generally quite happy with my body. I could be fitter and stronger but I'm getting there. I feel good in clothes and I love certain parts of my body. But I have a difficult relationship with my middle. Certain food makes me so bloated that I'm certain I must be expecting. Stomach exercises leave me feeling bulky.

So, I am setting out on my quest for a perfectly flat tummy with a little bit of help from Jillian Michaels, trying to cut down on foods that make me bloated (even though they're the tastiest) and a bit of inspiration in picture form:

  1. Mine is exactly the same I have a bump at the bottom of my stomach and no amount of exercise will make it go away. If anything works let me know! Good Luck! xoxo

  2. you look stunning as your are!
it's good to have a bit of meat round your middle, makes you look more filled out :) nothing wrong with wanting to tone up a bit though! :)xxx

I find bread makes me feel quite bloated...white bread in particular...I have cut it out and when I do occasionally indulge my god do I see the difference! Full on food baby bump!

  6. I know exactly how you feel. I've lost a bit of weight since the start of the year but it just seems so hard to shift around my middle and thigh area. Everywhere else is okay, just my bum and thighs are the worst. But I'll get there in the end after a lot more jogging, eating healthily and toning exercise!

  7. Ooh I want a belly like those too! I started pilates again recently. I did it a few years ago and loved the results. I'm an apple shape, my weight is all in my middle (and chest) and it really made my middle smaller and flatter. I'm pretty sure that if I had combined it with cardio (like I'm doing this time) I would have gotten much more definition in my belly area. Now if only they had an exercise that works on stretch marks :(

  10. Wheat is probably the worst for bloating, but you can easily get wheat free pasta and bread if you want to cut down without missing out :)

  13. Good for you lady! I am, also, on the same quest as you and it is soooo hard to get back into exercising when you haven't done it for so long...here are some really quick little tips

    1) Jump rope 0 sounds easy enough I know but it's one of the ONLY exercises that can actually break down cellulit

    2) Drink as much water as possible. Seriously, as soon as you wake up, drink a full glass of water AND right before you eat any meal. You'll notice that you eat a lot less

Good luck and keep us posted
