Little update.

12.4.11

I've been a busy bee lately and haven't had much time for blogging. I split my time between my house and Jonathan's house, and when I'm at my house I can't blog because I don't have a computer. I also don't have a proper camera at the moment (saving up for one) so blogging isn't as easy as it used to be. When I first started I had a dull job where I had a lot of spare time to inject into my blog; talking about the things I was buying and doing, and holidays and such. I had a fancy computer and laptop, and a shared camera with my (now ex) boyfriend which I subsequently lost following our break up.

Since my break up last Summer things have been tough financially and I've been learning to live on my own two feet. I haven't had much money for fancy makeup and clothes, and that's why my blog has taken a different angle. I've been busy paying bills and learning how to cook for one and looking after Lily and Lola.

Since I met Jonathan I've been incredibly happy and busy just living life. We do things like cooking and baking, and house hunting, and having afternoons out (see photo - taken from the weekend enjoying the sunshine).

I guess what I'm hoping is that you loyal readers of LLL will continue to come on my little journey with me and enjoy what I've got to say.

  2. I love reading your blog and you sound very much like me, i don't have the spare cash to buy expensive products or go on exotic holidays but i do prefer to read about real life blurb instead of just reviews on fancy products i can't afford to buy.

It's fab, keep it up xxx

  3. I cannot speak for everyone but I love reading this blog, it's very down to earth. It's nice to see that someone, like me, cannot always afford to go out and buy makeup and clothes every weekend but still has a lovely time nonetheless! :)

Plus we love Lily and Lola!!

  4. I love your blog now just as much as I loved it previously, maybe even more because it has tasty food and recipes. Sometimes life does change and that is reflected in our blogs through what we want to/are capable of writing about.
I wouldn't worry about losing readers due to the change of direction, it's still a fab blog

  5. I love it!

Blogging is about personal journies and it's great to watch how a person changes and adapts.

    I'll always be a follower :)

  25. Don't hate me for saying this, but while I thought your blog was lovely prior to your move & living on your own, I think more highly of it now because I feel that what you're writing is truly genuine and down to earth, and it's not "cookie cutter" like most of the other UK blogs I read. Your blog is always refreshing to read, and I've always *adored* your posts about Lily & Lola (their adoption story is so touching & they're so so so cute!) Hope you're having a great week! :)

Don't fret about the blog bb, it's fab as it is. I'm loving drooling over recipes! As fun as buying things & holidaying is, there's more important things & as long as you're happy then that's all that matters! <3
