What I talk about when I talk about running.

1.6.11

When Rosie posted this blog post not only did the words and pictures inspire me, but the book she linked to caught my eye. So much so that I went to WH Smith on my lunchbreak today and bought the book. I'm really out of the habit of reading lately, what with work, Lily and Lola, jogging in preparation for Race for Life, knitting, and socialising.

I'm only a few pages in but this guy seems pretty awesome so far.

  1. I love Murakami.... reading The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle at the moment. You should get a novel by him next time... seriously amazing! Elle x

  2. I remember when I read one of Murakami's novels I thought it was pretty scary/nerve-wrecking. There was Norwegian Wood not so long ago in the cinema and I HIGHLY recommend it (my boyfriend says it's one of his favorites movies EVER, and that's something!). X

P.S. Don’t forget about my giveaway!

  4. I absolutely love Murakami. His writing really draws you in. What I like most about it is how it resembles the writing style of Fitzgerald or Mark Twain but set in the modern world, more contemporary.
His characters are always very thought out, too.
I really liked Dance Dance Dance and Sputnik Love as well. If you would be looking for other books to read by him.
