Abra-ca-Debora Dutch Pancakes giveaway! (NOW CLOSED)

18.1.13

Fancy getting your hands on a hamper packed full of goodies for Pancake Day? I'm so jealous of this giveaway as the hamper contents sound amazing and I'd personally love to win one. So, read on and find out how you can enter!

The Abra-ca-Debora Pancake Day Hamper is a luxury wicker hamper containing sweet and savory ingredients for a pancake party for 2 people with a retail value of £50. It will include a pack of Original and Sweet Abra-ca-Debora Dutch pancakes, a jar of chutney and a jar of Marmite, Green & Blacks chocolate, maple syrup, golden icing sugar and a lemon.

If you'd like a bit more information on the brand or you want to interact with them, they can be found on Twitter or Facebook.

(please note the contents of the hamper in the giveaway are different to the ones pictured above)

The giveaway is open to subscribers of Lily loves Lola who are UK residents (sorry!) until midnight on Wednesday 23 January 2012. After this date one winner will be drawn at random and that lucky so-and-so will receive the hamper.

To enter please comment on this post to let me know what you normally have on your pancakes, if you have pancakes at all! I normally play it safe and have sugar and lemon. Okay, now my mouth is watering!

Good luck folks!

  3. Ooh I haven't had pancakes for ages! I have to say, it's lemon and sugar for me too - I've tried lots of other toppings but always come back to it. It cuts the richness of the pancake perfectly. I've been to the Dutch Pancake House in London though and tried their savoury pizza-style pancakes - they're amazing! Would love to try to recreate my own. Thank you for the lovely giveaway!

  4. What a beautiful hamper! I'm incredibly predictable and love pancakes with golden syrup, nutella or the traditional lemon and sugar. Might try a savoury pancake this year though - hello ham and cheese.

  15. Definitely craving pancakes after reading this post!

I tend to be a bit boring and stick to just sugar but I was brave last year and tried banana and chocolate which was DIVINE!

  16. I make pancakes for my two boys every Saturday, my five year old always has Nutella & my two year old loves Golden Syrup, so this hamper would be perfect for us as we have pancake day weekly not yearly! Fingers crossed!

  17. Just traditional lemon and sugar for me, the lightness of the topping means I can fit in multiple servings...yum! This year I might try vanilla or cinnamon infused sugar though, couple of vanilla pods in with some golden granulated sugar in a kilner jar should do the tick!x

  24. What an amazing hamper!

I am a big fan of the traditional honey and lemon.

However on New Year's Day, a few friends and I cooked up a delicious brunch - pancakes with pears poached in cinnamon, fresh blueberries and a dollop of yoghurt (sprinkled with lemon zest!) Completely worth the effort on a lazy morning!

Pancakes aren't just for Pancake Day!

  31. What a super Comp and Prize. Personally, I love the
    traditional lemon & caster sugar
    and this always makes an
appearance on Pancake Day. But my
husband and I created a tradition
a few years ago now which is Hot
Cherry’s in sauce with a generous
scoop of vanilla ice cream and
    that’s a firm favourite. But I do
plan on trying the Blueberry sauce
    as mentioned by Hannah Sinclair
    this year. Good Luck everyone.

I have pancakes for breakfast most Sundays- always with lemon and sugar, often also with honey and banana, and I also make the first pancake with pan-fried raisins in it. It's a bit of a ritual for me- pancakes are definitely not just for pancake day in my house :p
