Lily & Lola (& a Guinea Pig).

14.4.13

The sunshine and 19degrees we were promised in my part of the world today didn't materialise but the sun did make a brief appearance yesterday when I was out in the garden playing with Lily and Lola, trying to get some accurate photos of my new hair colour to show you (more difficult than it sounds!)

Lily and Lola love sitting in the sunshine so they grabbed a sunny spot and stayed there until I called them in as Jonathan and I were heading out to do a spot of shopping and to get lunch.

I hope you've all had a good weekend? I'm pretty tired today thanks to our amazingly horrid neighbours who kept us awake all night, so today has been a rather more relaxed affair than yesterday and there's definitely an early night on the horizon.

Let me know what you've been up to!

  1. It has been surprisingly warm over here in Manchester (relative to recent months!) so it's been nice to spend some time out and about outside. I love your little pugs!

  4. Such a sweet photo post, but every photo of Lily & Lola is sweet :) Love that last two, where you can just see the other pug in the background - so cute.
Sorry to hear about your neighbours, that really sucks :( I hope it happens to them one day so they know how it feels and hopefully stop! Some people have no consideration for others.
I've had quite a relaxing weekend too :) My aim was to have a no-spend weekend and that has been achieved! xx

  5. Aah your doggies are so cute. Loving the little one in the background! They have so much personality in their faces. You should train them to attack the ankles of your annoying neighbours.

Looking forward to seeing the new hair colour!

  6. Hello Lily & Lola! It makes me laugh how much they love the sun, Elsie is always pawing at the door to get into the garden when it is warm! x

  7. My dog loves to sunbathe too. Even in winter when it's too cold outside, he'll sit by the window if we get even the tiniest bit of sun.

  10. It made me sad that we never got the lovely weather that we'd been forecast, I'd got my hopes up for a few days of walking round with no coat on!
That last picture is absolutely brilliant :)

  13. Aw, seriously too cute! Sorry to hear you didn't get the weather you were promised and also that you got kept up! :( That sucks.

I would have loved to have a pug but sadly I have really bad allergies so I can't. I have a poodle (with the cute kind of hair cut, not the funny pom pom style!), called Sooty, instead :)

I went back to uni today after the easter break and it ws lovely to walk in wearing a hoody and not be cold!

It was also really nice to be wearing my aviators and feel the sun on my feet too. Hopefully this is Spring here for us!
