5 good things.

21.11.13

Amidst all the health worries I have had lately, being cold, tired and generally wanting to hibernate, there are lots of good things going on at the moment so I thought one of my 5 good things blog posts was in order!

1. Just under 5 weeks until Christmas! My Christmas shopping is almost done, my cards are made, and wrapping paper is ready and waiting to spring into action. Here's hoping the organisation continues!

2. With the help of my manager and her o2 Priority we managed to bag tickets to McBusted in April! I was a HUGE Busted fan 10 years ago (even though, at 18, I probably should have known better) and have loved McFly since their very first song, so this is all rather exciting for me. The seats are pretty good so I'm rather excited about April (yes, I know it's a long way away!)

3. It's nearly the weekend and with plans to go pottery painting with my friend followed by lunch, then a lot of putting my feet up and keeping warm and cosy indoors, I am rather looking forward to it.

4. With the help of this book I am starting to get my head round my PCOS diagnosis and I feel like I have so much more knowledge just from reading a few chapters. Doctors aren't always very good at explaining such important things to us, are they, so it's nice to have a manual to refer to. The diet chapter is particularly helpful. I can do a full review of the book if anyone feels that would be helpful?

5. This week I had my very first piano lesson. I was really nervous but it went well and I am looking forward to my next one!

I'll leave you with a few photos from our weekend and last week. Do let me know what your 5 good things are!

Every time someone mentions Christmas, I get really excited! I love it! I've nearly finished my shopping too, and have even wrapped a few presents! I've no self-control :)
I'm actually a teeny bit jealous you got McBusted tickets! To be honest, I've never been a huge fan of either of them but have recently started liking Mcfly (they seem like such nice guys too!) and reckon the McBusted tour will be pretty special! My Mum actually knows Busted Matt's sister as before she retired she was a physiotherapist and used to treat her - she lives near us!
Hope your next piano lesson goes well, and your weekend plans sound lovely :) xx

I hope that the piano playing goes well. I adore playing the piano. It's hard, especially when your two hands are doing completely different things, but it's so satisfying when you get it right!

I cannot wait til McBusted. I managed to get tickets on the Friday and after panicking that I wouldnt get any I am now going to see them on the 19th in Liverpool AND the 26th in London. SO EXCITED!!

This weekend is my 'Christmas shopping' weekend. I plan to get MOST of it done! I need to just get it done and dusted!

Well done on the McBusted tickets! I went to see The Backstreet Boys/New Kids On The Block tour a couple of years back...sadly for me, New Kids were my era (I feel so old...) but it was such a fantastic night! I love revisiting good memories like that :)

I was sorry to read about the health issues you've been having. I remember reading an interview with Louise Redknapp who had the same diagnoses (and incidentally has two lovely little children). I'm glad the book has been helpful.

Lastly, I'm so excited about Christmas! Is it December yet??

My friend got tickets to McBusted too, she's going to Leeds. Not being from England I didnt know anything about either of them until moving here and having an obsessive friend haha. Also, how organised are you for christmas, seriously impressed!

It would be great, and very helpful if you shared what the book has helped you with :) I'm struggling with PCOS since I was 12 and never really worried that much until now when I'm close to 25 and actually thinking about my future...

Huge luck with learning piano, I've always wanted to be able to play with two hands (I'm alright with one!).

Love to see some points from the pcos book, mine's just started playing up after almost 3 years of being good! ( typical that its just before xmas and in my third year of uni- grrrr)

McBusted is bound to be serious fun. Enjoy it!

My biggest good thing this week is finding the very first home I'm going to share with my boyfriend.
